Grilled Hot Honey Butter Wings

Chargrilled wings dripping in sweet and spicy butter - the Butter Mix does double duty as the seasoning and the finisher.
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 x whole chicken wings (about 2-3lb)
- 3 tablespoons Hot Honey Butter Mix
- 2 oz/4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
METHOD:
- Prepare a grill for medium heat cooking, about 400f. Set it up for two zones - with direct AND indirect heat.
- Coat the wings with the oil, then shaker over approx 2 tablespoons of the Hot Honey Butter Mix. Using gloved hands, toss to coat so the wings are well seasoned.
- Place the wings onto the hot/direct side of the grill, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook a further 2-3 minutes on the other side. You should be developing nice char on the skin.
- Move the wings to the indirect side of the grill, close the lid and continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 165f, about 10-15 minutes.
- In a heat safe pan, place the remaining Hot Honey Butter Mix and the butter, and place onto the grill to melt. This can also be done in the microwave, if preferred. Stir everything well once the butter is melted.
- Remove the wings from the grill into a large bowl, then pour over the Hot Honey Butter. Toss to coat the wings, then serve immediately.
